The advent of new technology has increased the complexity of the global defence and security landscape. The Defence Science and Technology Agency will be hosting the Singapore Defence Technology Summit (Tech Summit) 2019 to expand on insights gained from the 2018 inaugural summit with the theme “Impact of the 4^th Industrial Revolution on Defence and Security”.

Tech Summit is a unique gathering of global thought leaders from defence, security establishments, industry, academia and think tanks to network, confer and collaborate in the development of defence and security capabilities.

• National Armament Directors and Chief Technology Officers
• Government Chief Technology Officers
• Chief Executive Officers and Chief Technology Officers from the industry
• Thought leaders from academia and think tanks

Building on the insights gained from Tech Summit 2018, Tech Summit 2019 will examine domains such as artificial intelligence, sensors and drones pioneered by the military but rapidly adopted for commercial use, and discuss how these developments will impact defence, security and society. We will also explore how breakthroughs in neuroengineering, synthetic biology and space will shape our future, and more.
